Kyle brings more than 15 years of experience working with startup and growth focused organizations to improve operations and financial performance and to acquire and strategically deploy funding. His expertise is in innovation and technology commercialization, financial growth strategy, and organizational management. Kyle has worked with organizations of all sizes in the for-profit, nonprofit, government, and philanthropy sectors focusing primarily on
early-stage growth companies.
He frequently serves as a fractional CFO and commercialization consultant to clients assisting with organization design, fundraising and capital deployment. Kyle has been CFO to 9 organizations across a variety of sectors and helped to raise more than $65 million in funding. Previously, Kyle led the licensing team at the University of South Carolina to commercialize technology through spin-out companies successfully transitioning more than 38 technologies to the private sector including the technology underpinning MobileNuclear, Inc. He has consulted on revenue cycle optimization for hospitals and health systems with Optum, a UnitedHealth Group company and currently serves as Chair of the Board for a DC-based international nonprofit.
Kyle holds a master’s degree in public administration and a B.A. in political science from the University of South Carolina.
